Vic Mensa Says R. Kelly Needs to Be Locked Up Forever

Vic Mensa is not riding with his fellow Chi-town native, R. Kelly, as the singer tries to clear his name of recent claims.

Kells is of course battling recent allegations that he is running a sex cult, and when asked about the famous Windy City native, Vic was not bashful about giving his assessment of the embattled crooner. "Fuck R. Kelly," the Roc Nation rapper recently told a TMZ cameraman. "R. Kelly is a scumbag and a very dirty man. He needs to be locked up forever."

Kelly's personal life has again hit the spotlight after a BuzzFeed report ran where parents and former employees accused the singer of controlling the minds, actions and living arraignments of several young women. Even more alarming, there are also claims of physical abuse.

Kelly denied the claims in a statement from his reps saying, “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.” And one of his alleged captives has come forward to say she is not being held hostage.

But this, coupled with his alarming past, is enough for some people. A petition was started last week to try to get Kelly booted from his record label, Sony. The singer, who is currently out touring, has hired a new lawyer to deal with the matter, reportedly obtaining Bill Cosby's former attorney.
