Twista always stays consistent when it comes to releasing new music, and he's back again with his 10th studio album, Crook County. The "Stackin' Paper" rapper drops his latest anticipated project on Soundcloud Friday (July 7), and it finds him him diving into detailed imagery of life in Chicago.

Crook County contains features from Blac Youngsta, Cap1, Jeremih, The Boy Illinois, Vic Spencer, Bodi Deeder and more, with a lot of the instrumentals being handled by famed producer Zaytoven, Zenzan Beats, and others.

After Twista announced the album back in late May, fans have been awaiting the project, with the title stemming from a previous song he made of the same name. The Crook County name comes from his view of his hometown, as he previously told XXL that it was the "county of crooks."

The Midwest native spoke further on the content of the album, detailing why he wanted to focus on what goes on in his beloved city.

"Crook County got me thinking about what my city is, and Hip-Hop's conflict between old and new," Twista explains. "The project is my vision of where I'm at in the music game right now, bridging the gap between the youth and myself. What I wanted to focus on was not necessarily so much the guys that were on the forefront of Chicago right now, but just do it with that whole background scene a little bit. Like these guys that could sell out a Chicago crowd and you not know who the hell they are."

The album follows in the footsteps of the MC's Dark Horse project, which was last released in 2014.
