Once this year's Freshman class was revealed on June 13, plenty of hip-hop artists like Swizz Beatz and Pharrell chimed in on social media to show them love. Pharrell gave a special shout out to Atlanta newcomer Kap G, whose freestyle was released today. He stands among seven of his peers who have had their XXL bars shared with the world recently, including Ugly GodKamaiyah, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Playboi Carti, Kyle, PnB Rock and Madeintyo. All of these rappers' Freshman videos have already garnered hundreds of thousands, if not over a million views and shares online.

As showtime approaches, fans of the class are pumped for the night's festivities, which is sure to see memorable performances from the likes of Ugly God with his singles "Water" and "Bitch!," and A Boogie with tracks "Drowning" and "My Shit." Though special guests have yet to be announced, tonight will definitely be one for the hip-hop history books.

Check back here tonight when the 2017 XXL Freshman Class hits the stage.
