Prodigy's death came as a huge shock to family, friends, loved ones and the hip-hop community, but celebrating his legacy is bringing tons of people together. After passing away in a Las Vegas hospital last week due to sickle cell complications, a memorial service is being held for the late Mobb Deep rapper this Thursday, June 29, in New York City.

The Queensbridge MC's memorial service is slated to be held at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel on 1076 Madison Avenue in New York City from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Fortunately for fans who have admiration for the beloved rapper, they will be able to come say goodbyes at the memorial service between those three hours, which will also be attended by Prodigy's close friends, family and, more than likely, some of the celebrities who have honored him. According to TMZ, Nas, Lil Kim, Big Daddy Kane, Ice-T and Naughty by Nature are some of the high profile guests who have been invited.

Since his passing, the hip-hop community has been coming together to tribute to the Mobb Deep member, with the 2017 BET Awards paying homage to him. Even Eminem and Kendrick Lamar honored Prodigy by rapping some of his most notable lyrics for Peter Rosenberg's "Real Late" radio show, which honored the veteran.
