Don't get it twisted—beef isn't restricted to rappers. R&B has had its fair share of beef including Tamar Braxton and K. Michelle as well as Brian McKnight and Chris Brown. Now it seems there might be some friction between PartyNextDoor and Tyrese.

Early this morning, Party tweeted that he had met Tyrese, and on two occasions, Tyrese dissed the OVO singer. It's unclear whether the interaction was recent or something in the distant past. Either way, PND encouraged other young artists to push past similar situations. His tweet is no longer available but Tyrese replied to the heat he got on his timeline for the claims with a new Instagram video.

In the new video, Tyrese sends out two messages: one for PartyNextDoor and one for William Shatner. He starts with some advice that neither confirms nor denies what Party said happened. Tyrese suggests to Party that if anyone ever disses him, barring that the aggressor is wearing Spider-Man socks, he should "sock him in the chest!" He uses the rest of the video to promote a new travel site that he is a part of, Voltron Travel, and states he's coming for Shatner's spot. Shatner was the face of the travel agency Priceline.

Although Party had some choice words for another artist himself, he had deaded his beef with Jeremih over their tour. He also released his Colours 2 EP earlier this month.

Tyrese has had negative things to say about other artists in the past, including Lil Uzi Vert and Ginuwine.
