It's been three years since Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era collective have dropped a project (The Shift), and in that time, each member of the crew—which was founded by the late Capital STEEZ—has seen their fan base grow considerably.

An emphasis on solo work has done wonders for the crew, which features the talents of Joey, CJ Fly—who's a prospective 2017 XXL FreshmanNyck Caution, Kirk Knight and among few others, but fans of the clique won't have to wait too much longer to hear music from the squad as a unit. Joey said as much in a recent interview with Revolt TV, while also revealing that Steez's posthumous project, titled King Capital, is also on its way.

"Alright, I guess I'll just let the cat out the bag now" says Joey, whose AmeriKKKan Bada$$ album's earned plenty of critical acclaim this year. "I think it’s a perfect time to since people think we all not doing anything. We're working on the album. We're gonna put out a Pro Era album real soon. King Capital is also coming real soon. But, yeah, we back on our shit. I ain't gonna lie, there was a period of time where we were just really trying to figure it out. Everybody was young. Everybody was growing, becoming adults. We started this shit as kids. We kinda had to allow that grace period for all of us to really fall into ourselves and we're definitely at that point now and we coming back stronger than ever. This album sounding crazy. I don’t even want to overhype it or do anything, but great stuff. [2017] for sure."

Joey didn't specify any time frame for the Pro Era album or the Steez's next offering, but we hope "real soon" is this summer. Watch Joey's interview for yourself below.
