Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi Adds Verse to French Montana and Swae Lee’s “Unforgettable”

French Montana and Swae Lee's single "Unforgettable" has inspired quite a few remixes as of late, so it's only right Swae's Sremm brother, Slim Jxmmi, throws a verse of his own on the track. Today (May 26), he's done just that.

Adding his own flavor to the track, Jxmmi adopts an islander's accent for his verse, and it fits in pretty well with the tropical sort of vibe the instrumental gives off. So do Jxmmi's lyrics, which find him chasing after baddies and getting turnt off the liquor.

"I been drinking too much to hold back/put the Hennessy on ice and throw it back," Jxmmi spits on the song, with his vocals dipped in Auto-Tune. From his verse on, he also throws in a few vocals to complement Swae's vocals on the track. Naturally, he doesn't miss a beat.

Although people have discussed the idea of Swae Lee going solo, it's clear his chemistry with Slim Jxmmi is too dope to ever be left alone. That chemistry, along with a guest appearance from Gucci Mane, helped Rae Sremmurd's single, "Black Beatles," become one of the biggest rap songs of 2017.

A little less than a week ago, the track took home the trophy for Top Rap Collaboration at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. The song must be a real crowd pleaser.
