Nicki Minaj Will Continue to Perform After Manchester Concert Bombing: “We Don’t Operate in Fear”

Stars from all segments of the entertainment industry have offered up their condolences to those affected by the tragic bombing just outside Ariana Grande's concert at Britain's Manchester Arena this past Monday (May 22).

In an interview with TMZ, Nicki Minaj, who tweeted out her thoughts and prayers in the hours following the attack, once again spoke on the matter, offering her support to Grande while confirming she doesn't have any plans to alter her approach to touring in the aftermath of the bombing.

"Nope, because we don't operate on fear," Nicki says when a reporter asks if she'll cancel any of her upcoming show dates. When the reporter asks if she has any messages for Grande, Nicki says, "Ariana's my sister and I love the people in the U.K. and I'm devastated by the news. It's heartbreaking."

Nicki goes on to say she'll still be performing for her Manchester fans when she goes on tour in 2018.

A short time after the attack, authorities revealed 22-year-old Salman Abedi as the person responsible for carrying out the bombing, which left 22 dead and 119 more injured. Considering ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack, no one could blame artists for reconsidering their touring plans in the coming months. Grande, who returned to the U.S. yesterday, has already postponed the remainder of her tour in Europe.
