Just hours before unleashing his Teenage Emotions album onto the world, Lil Yachty popped up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform "Bring It Back," a single he dropped a few weeks ago.

Continuing the nostalgic vibes of the 1980s-inspired song, Yachty rocks what appears to be the same prom outfit he wore in his "Bring It Back" video, which he released shortly after he dropped the song. Of course, it's fitting, because the track sounds like Lil Boat's version of Simple Minds' "Don't You (Forget About Me)."

Matching Yachty's prom-theme, the live band also rocks formal prom attire as they play and Yachty commands the stage—which is something he's become pretty good at. Overall, this is a good look for Yachty and an even better way to celebrate the release of his debut album.

Speaking of Lil Boat's debut album, it checks in at a hearty 21 tracks in length, and features production from the likes of Pierre Bourne, Diplo, Lex Luger, WondaGurl and more. All in all, there are plenty of speaker-thumping anthems to balance out the more relaxed feel of "Bring It Back."

Yachty's debut album has him positione to make more of a splash in the music industry than ever before. Speaking with us for the Spring Edition of XXL Magazine, Lil Boat said he wasn't wasting any opportunities.

"Well, like I said, in this game, I haven’t been here that long and I was extremely poor, you know what I’m saying? Real broke. No money ever, so it’s a blessing and I’m just thankful to be in this position in life. I never take this moment for granted," Yachty said at the time.
