Last week, Blac Youngsta was charged with six felonies in connection to the Charlotte shooting that riddled Young Dolph's SUV with over 100 bullets. Now, like Dolph did, he's taking advantage of the situation by releasing a new project thematically connected to the incident, and it's called I'm Innocent.

In an Instagram post announcing the project, Youngsta explained his thought process behind the project: "I JUST REALIZE THAT THIS RAP SHIT AIN'T FOR ME THIS SHIT WATERED DOWN AND FAKE AS FUCK I'M OUT HERE FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE RIGHT NOW SO I THINK DIFFERENT AND LOOK AT SHIT DIFFERENT I DONE LOST SO MUCH TO THIS SHIT MF JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND ONLY IF YOU KNOW THEY GONE PLAYER HATE WHEN YOU WIN YOU KNOW THEY GONE ACT FAKE WHEN YOU SEE EM I WOULDNT WISH JAIL ON MY WORST ENEMY WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID THIS IS MY TESTIMONY... DROPPING 6/2/17 "I'M INNOCENT" #HIPHOPPER #CMGHEAVYCAMP."

Youngsta was caught heading to court by a local news station the other day when he told cameras "somebody's snitching." Dolph doesn't want to talk about the situation any more, but after the February shooting that put his life in danger, he released his own Bulletproof project.

We got a chance to speak with Dolph about the shooting shortly after it happened. Watch that interview below. If you missed it, listen to Blac Youngsta's latest mixtape Illuminati featuring Kodak Black, Lil Yachty, Slim Jxmmi and more.
