Big Sean is having a powerful 2017, and things are only moving up for him as the months go by. While the Detroit rapper has just wrapped up his national I Decided. Tour that swept the country over the past couple of months, he's about to take a major stage on national television.

Earlier today, MTV announced that the "Bounce Back" MC has been recruited to perform live at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards this Sunday, May 7. The G.O.O.D. Music signee is reportedly slated to perform his "Jump Out the Window" record for the very first time on television, which comes off of his recently released album. There's no word on whether he will be bringing his girlfriend Jhené Aiko to the awards with him as his date for the evening, but we're sure she'll be supporting his big night regardless.

Sean isn't the only artist that will be taking the stage to perform at the awards show, as Noah Cyrus has also signed on to give a performance. He will be the first artist to kick off the return of MTV’s “PUSH: Artist to Watch” campaign, as he will be the brand's featured artist for the month of May.

Sean's lucrative year has been packed with appearances, shows, and new releases. His I Decided. album landed at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in its first week back in February, having moved 151,000 equivalent units in its first week.

We're excited to see Sean make his way to the MTV stage for the Movie Awards on Sunday, which will be airing at 8 p.m. EST.
