Look out world, Wale's newest album's coming a good bit sooner than expected--one week earlier, to be exact. The MMG artist said as much at his listening party for Shine last night (April 26).

Shine was originally supposed to drop next Friday (May 5), but last night Wale announced, "I'm dropping this bitch on Friday," meaning the project should arrive tomorrow (April 28).

It's been a long time coming for Shine, as Wale dropped the first single for the project last summer. Since then, there hadn't been much in the way of solidified details about the album's release. Now, all that's really left to do is peep the album for ourselves.

Wale's newest project includes features from Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, WizKid, Travis Scott, Major Lazer and more. From what we've heard so far, the new project will see Wale mesh his trademark lyricism with beats that go extra hard.

Of course, Wale's album dropping a week early means April is officially going down in the books for its stream of strong releases. At the top of the month, Young Dolph dropped his super-solid Bulletproof project. A week later, we got Joey Bada$$'s freedom fighting soundtrack of an album, All Amerikkkan Bada$$. And then, about two weeks ago, Kendrick Lamar set the world ablaze with his DAMN. album. It's been a great month.

We were at Wale's album-listening party last night, and we documented the experience on Twitter. You can check out tweets from our coverage of the event below.
