Chance The Rapper has become an in-demand guest artist for a variety of musician's tracks, and it looks like one major producer was able to land a feature from him on his new album. Cam O'bi is currently working on finishing his new album, and he just revealed that it will feature the official version of "Grown Ass Kid."

If you recall, the Chicago MC teamed up with Mick Jenkins and Alex Wiley for the vibrant record, which was produced by O'bi, who frequently works with the "No Problem" rapper. The track later hit the e-streets in May of 2016. While many anticipated that the song would appear on Chance's Coloring Book album, which dropped shortly after the song was unveiled, it wasn't given sample clearance in time so it was left off the effort.

Now, O'bi is claiming that he has hold of the official version of the track, and will be putting it on his upcoming album. "s/o to yall who reposted the leaked version of Grown Ass Kid the song to youtube after I had it blocked lol be patient the album is coming!" he wrote to fans on Twitter, continuing, "and the real version of Grown Ass Kid the song will be on there. Don't be thirsty now."

The 2016 version of the song featured all three MCs spitting in their signature element, rapping about everyday dealings, as well as socially-conscious topics, which Chance covered throughout his Grammy Award-winning project.

We'll keep you updated on Cam O'bi's album to come, but for now, enjoy the sounds of the unofficial version of "Grown Ass Kid" from last year below.
