French Montana reminded the hip-hop world that he's still down for the Wavy One by paying a visit to Max B earlier this week. The Bad Boy signee pulled up to the East Jersey State Prison in Rahway, N.J. Tuesday (March 21) in a white leather and fur-trimmed coat only to change into an orange prison uniform to see his homie. A video posted to French's Instagram shows the rapper entering the prison right up until the point where cameras aren't allowed to see his friend and fellow rapper. "VISITING MY BROTHER MAX B," French captioned the Instagram video.

Back in September 2016, French confirmed to fans online that Max's prison sentence had been reduced thanks to a plea deal, ensuring that he could be out of the pen sooner than his 75-year sentence. Max, born Charles Wingate, was convicted of armed robbery, aggravated assault and felony murder back in 2009. As per the plea agreement, Max is set to have a parole date of 2024, meaning he could be home in approximately six years if not sooner.

Like other strategic hip-hop stars, Max B has managed to keep his name in the game despite being behind bars for years. Biggaveli dropped his debut album Vigilante Season in 2011, has collabed with artists like Young Riot to drop mixtapes, released his own emojis pack and, whether he's aware of it or not, has become the centerpiece of many hip-hop memes. In February 2016, French dropped the Max B-inspired mixtape Wave Gods that included audio from Max himself.
