Fans of R&B sensation Frank Ocean were hyped when he shared new music last Saturday during his second episode of blonded Radio on Apple Music. The reclusive singer debuted the new song “Chanel,” and later premiered the remix featuring A$AP Rocky. Within Frank's retrospective and melancholy lyrics, the crooner makes a reference to the fashion house's legendary double C logo.

"My guy pretty like a girl/And he got fight stories to tell/I see both sides like Chanel/See on both sides like Chanel," sings Frank.

Now, it seems the haute couture French fashion house has taken notice of Ocean's namedrop and ran with it in a few new ads. The official Instagram for Chanel shared two new advertisements Wednesday (March 15) that gave a nod to Frank's new song by switching up the lyrics.

"We see both sides like Frank Ocean,” the captions of the ads read. Both of the ads were posted with hashtags #FrankOcean and #YouKnowMeAndYouDont, the slogan for Chanel's latest collab. Fans of the brand and the singer have started to speculate that these ads could be a clue that Ocean is working with Chanel on their art direction. Representatives for Frank Ocean and Chanel were not available for comment.

Chanel as a brand has started embracing hip-hop more than ever. During Chanel's most recent Fall 2017 Paris Fashion Week show, rappers Pharrell and Skepta sat front row for the space-themed show and while in Paris for Fashion Week, Nicki Minaj attended an exclusive dinner with Chanel's creative designer Karl Lagerfeld.
