It's the slightest bit premature, but it looks like Drake's interminable win streak will continue with More Life. According to the folks at Billboard, Drizzy's latest project is set to move between 500,000 and 550,000 equivalent album units in its first week, the highest first week total of any release since his own project, Views.

Of course, if the first week album sale projections hold up even a little bit—and it's pretty much certain they will—More Life will end up being Drizzy's seventh consecutive project to debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 chart. In other words, this is another huge W for Toronto's favorite son.

This news shouldn't be all that surprising. A few days ago, Drizzy broke the Spotify streaming record by becoming the first artist to earn 10 billion streams on the platform. More Life also broke Spotify's single day streaming record with 61,302,082 streams on March 19, the first full day it was available. Numbers don't lie, especially when they're this overwhelming.

Described as a playlist rather than an album, More Life is a long and winding cross-cultural pop extravaganza that will likely serve as the soundtrack for the spring and summer. With features from Kanye West, Young Thug, Travis Scott, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Quavo, it's as star-studded a release as you'll find.

More Life is streaming on Apple Music now, and you can also cop it on iTunes.
