Big Sean's highly anticipated album I Decided. is finally here, and the track "No Favors" has sparked a ton of reaction on social media due to Eminem's polarizing verse.

Many Twitter users are criticizing Eminem, essentially saying he's past his prime and his lyrics are outdated. The popular Twitter account @DragonflyJonez typed, "I go to bat for Eminem all the time on here. Peak Eminem that is. But this 1998 AOL Freestyle chatroom verse on this Big Sean aint it bruh."

Along those same lines, the Twitter user @big_business_ wrote, "i don't want none of you niggas to ever discredit weezy being washed when eminem is legit giving us room temperature mountain dew bars."

Meanwhile, other social media users had positive reactions to Em's verse on "No Favors." The account @Beantown_Scampi wrote, "Trap fans not understanding an Eminem verse cause the dude uses actual words to form verses." That particular argument falls a bit flat, though: just because someone listens to trap, it doesn't mean they can't understand more complex verses. Strange lyrics from Eminem are par for the course, as he's been writing wacked-out bars throughout his career. However, the verse seems out of place to many rap fans in 2017.

He spits, "Insanely perverted, rapey and scurvy/They blame me for murdering Jamie Lee Curtis/Said I put her face in the furnace, beat her with a space heater/A piece of furniture, egg beater, thermos/It may be disturbing, what I'm saying's cringeworthy/But I'm urinating on Fergie, call Shady number 81/Surely I'm turning into the Aaron Hernandez of rap."
