Watch Jidenna Perform Live in New York
Fans have the opportunity to watch Jidenna perform right from home. The "Classic Man" artist will be rocking the stage at the Kola House in New York today (Feb. 16), but you can live-stream it from your computer. All you have to do is tune into the above broadcast at 8 p.m. EST and enjoy the show.
Jidenna is performing to celebrate the release of his debut album, The Chief, which drops tomorrow (Feb. 17). The Wisconsin native added to hype of his long-awaited project earlier today by unleashing a music video for the song "The Let Out." Now, fans will have an opportunity to experience his live show no matter where they are located.
The road to The Chief's release has gone through some unexpected bumps. The project was originally scheduled to drop last year as his "Long Live the Chief" single dropped in December 2015. Jidenna even held a listening party for the LP in August 2016. During that event, he spoke about what fans could expect from the album.
“It feels good to be done and have something that will not just change this world, not just this era but eras to come,” Jidenna said. “I believe what Wondaland is doing is creating depth.”
The Chief serves as a tribute to Jidenna's father, a professor who helped design Africa’s first personal computer. If you can't wait to hear the project, you can pre-order the LP now on iTunes and get immediate access to four of its 14 tracks.
