Back in November, the public found out that Zaytoven and Jay Z were in the studio together working on some music. According to Zaytoven, the collaboration is something that will appear on his and Jay Z's next respective projects.

"I didn’t know how far [my music] was reaching," Zaytoven told Billboard. "So when Jay Z invited me to his house and told me what type of beats he wanted, it opened my mind up to be like, my music is reaching everybody and touching people in a certain way. There's a distinct something when they hear my music. I feel like [the collaboration] is gonna be for both of [our projects]. I know it's going to be a trophy for me."

And what type of beats did Hov want, exactly? According to Zaytoven, Jay said, "Tell him when he come over, make sure he bring them beats with them strings and pianos in it."

Zaytoven also provided an update on his and Future's much anticipated sequel to Beast Mode. Unfortunately, the acclaimed producer revealed that the project still has no release date.

"I’m moving on Future’s wave right now," he said. "He moves how he wanna move. I don’t know when his next project is. I just know that he got fire on top of fire. I can’t say exactly when Beast Mode is coming out. All I can say is when it does come out, it’s crushing everything."

Zaytoven previously believed that Beast Mode 16 was finished, but Future wanted to continue recording new material for the project. The Drake-assisted "Used to This" was thought to be the first single, but plans may have changed in the months since its November release.
