Soulja Boy is clearing his name of any rumors that he is being accused of not paying rent on a Los Angeles home.

Yesterday (Jan. 13), TMZ ran a story that claimed an L.A. landlord was trying to kick the Atlanta rapper out of a Hollywood Hills home he was renting. According to the article, Soulja is more than a month behind on rent for the crib, which he leased three months ago for $6,000 a month.

Soulja's publicist has come forward to call those claims totally false. In an e-mail to XXL, the rapper's representative says DeAndre is not contractually obligated to the property in question. "The property mentioned in the article was leased by Soulja Boy’s business partner, businessman and up-coming recording artist Possible Philly," the statement reads. "Soulja Boy has nothing to do with the rental agreement and subsequently his name should not have been included in any accounts related to the property."

According to the rep, the property is "predominantly used to fulfill orders" from an online clothing company Soulja co-owns with Philly called, Chosen Dream.

Additionally, Soulja's rep says the space is in no way close to being behind on payments, writing, "A six month rental advance was paid to the landlord and additional payments have been made to cover utilities, there are no current arrears on the property."

The property was recently burglarized, when thieves accessed the building by breaking down a door.
