It looks like celebrity boxing matches might be a big part of hip-hop in 2017. Recently, Riff Raff followed in Chris Brown and Soulja Boy's footsteps by challenging another rapper to step into the ring. Who did the Neon Icon challenge? None other than 50 Cent. See the hilarious, semi-Rocky style challenge video for yourself up top.

"This ain't no street fight either, I want $2 million," Riff Raff says in the clip, before going on to box against his trainer. A bit later he weighs himself on a scale, announcing that he weighs 215 pounds. He then says 50 probably ways 100 pounds less. Sounds like a legit challenge.

As you may already know, 50 Cent is currently busy promoting the match between C. Breezy and Soulja Boy. The two hip-hop luminaries got the idea to box it out after they began feuding at the top of the month. Soon, that idea turned into a potentially very lucrative pay-per-view match-up set to take place on Jan. 28.

50 may be busy, but there's always a chance that he decides to take up Riff Raff's offer. After all, he used to box when he was younger, and apparently he was good enough to compete in the Junior Olympics. Riff Raff may want to sit this one out.

In what's been an interesting new trend to start off 2017, Kodak Black also challenged a rap icon to a boxing match. Kodak made his target Lil Wayne, and he said he was willing to bet a lot of money on his winning the bout. “Ay listen here man. Tell Lil Wayne fight me, know what I’m saying,” Kodak says in the now-deleted Instagram vid. “We finna get in the ring, we finna fight–me and Lil Wayne. I’m finna knock that stupid ass nigga out. And if he whoop me, he the best rapper alive, ya heard me?”

We have no idea if Weezy will take Kodak's challenge seriously, but if he does, maybe 50 should try to get the two spitters on the card with Soulja and C. Breezy.
