It seems Tha Carter V release may be getting closer. On Jan. 6, Birdman confirmed that the album will indeed come out. "It’s definitely coming out," the Cash Money CEO told Scott on the latter's Beats 1 radio show. "The situation with me and my son, I’m going to put it all behind us and just let it move forward. Wayne is one of the best artists ever to do the game, and I want to see him continue to do what he been doing, and I’m going to support whatever he’s doing."

In other Carter V-related news, pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli (best known for raising prices on drugs for infectious diseases) recently announced he had obtained the album. The project was then authenticated by Tunechi's camp, and the New Orleans rapper reached out to Shkreli to make sure he doesn't leak or preview any tracks.

Shortly thereafter, Shkreli assured Wayne he won't leak anything. As aforementioned, you can listen to the "Life of Mr. Carter" snippets above and below.
