The official details are emerging in the recent arrests of Paul Wall and Baby Bash, and they include accusations of organized crime.

As previously reported, the two rappers were arrested in Houston on Friday (Dec. 23) and charged with felonies after police executed a search warrant on a building they were in and found illegal drugs.

Now, the charges the rappers, and two other men, are facing have been revealed as felony intent to distribute between four and 400 grams of the controlled substance Tetrahydrocannabinol, or waxy marijuana extract, reports Chron.com.

Paul Wall's lawyer, Jolanda Jones, released a statement Friday saying she is "confident that after a thorough investigation of these allegations," that the H-town MC would be found not guilty. "I will fight vigorously to defend my client," she wrote.

Since the arrest, Baby Bash has come forward to offer an explanation of the incident. “I gotta learn how to balance out living in California and Texas, because I have a medical marijuana company in California and when I come to Texas I tend to smoke a lot of marijuana,” he told TMZ.

“All it was, was a little smoke out that got bigger than it should have been,” he further explained “People had edibles and people had dabs. There were no drugs. They tried to make it like we were big druggies, but it was all marijuana and THC. So I want people to know, it was basically me and Paul were smoking some tree. I guess in Texas they don’t play that as much as Cali and Colorado. They arrested us.”

Both men have been freed on $20,000 bond.
