Turner Sports broadcaster Craig Sager has passed away at the age of 65. The death is a blow to any NBA fan as Sager has been an integral part of TNT's NBA coverage for over 25 years. Drake, Lil Wayne, Metro Boomin and Jadakiss were just a few of the hip-hop artists to pay tribute to late sideline reporter.

Sager was best known for his colorful and outlandish suits. The veteran broadcaster always stood out on the sideline, but it never took away from his work as a reporter. Sager was dealt a blow in 2014 when he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Although he returned to the sidelines, he had to be admitted to the hospital again in November 2016.

"Craig Sager was a beloved member of the Turner family for more than three decades and he has been a true inspiration to all of us," Turner president David Levy said in a statement. "There will never be another Craig Sager. His incredible talent, tireless work ethic and commitment to his craft took him all over the world covering sports."

The NBA plans to honor Sager tonight (Dec. 15) with a moment of silence at all games. NBA commissioner Adam Silver spoke about Sager's importance to the coverage of the league.

"I - along with the entire NBA family - am deeply saddened by the passing of Craig Sager," Silver said. "Craig was as vital to the NBA as the players and coaches. A true original and an essential voice on Turner Sports' NBA coverage for 26 seasons, Craig chronicled some of the most memorable moments in league history and was a ubiquitous presence with his splashy suits and equally colorful personality."

Tonight's NBA on TNT broadcast is sure to be most emotional of the season. R.I.P. Craig Sager.
