The Weeknd dropped his third studio album Starboy over the Thanksgiving holiday, and as expected, the project is doing numbers.

According to Hits Daily Double, the LP is on pace to sell between 350,000-400,000 equivalent album units with 225,000-275,000 traditional album sales. With those numbers, the project would easily land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when the next chart is revealed.

This would mark his second No. 1 album in under two years. His last project Beauty Behind the Madness did similar numbers when it dropped last August, moving in the area of 325,000 copies. A couple weeks after its release, every song off the album had charted on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hi-Hop Songs chart.

The project went on to win eight trophies at the Billboard Music Awards. He also earned two Grammys for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best R&B Performance for his chart-topping smash “Earned It.”

Abel also recently scored big at the MTV EMA Awards where he took home the award for Best Video for “Starboy” which features Daft Punk

Starboy, which has guest appearances from Future, Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar and Lana Del Rey, will have a tough act to follow. The Canadian crooner also released a short film titled Mania which features songs off the album.

So far, so good.
