The rap game lost one of its fiercest MCs when Brownsville's own Sean Price died unexpectedly last year. Now, the folks at Duck Down Records are commemorating Price's legacy in the most fitting way imaginable. On Nov. 25, the record label is releasing a limited edition box set of his three standout solo albums Monkey Barz, Jesus Price Supastar, and Mic Tyson.

The package, which is called the Sean Price Silverback Gorilla Box Set, could also be described as a shrine to Price's legendary career. Each box set comes complete with Sean P's lyrics scrawled across five panels, a metal-cage door, a hologram cover design of Sean facing off against a gang of ferocious gorillas, an R.I.P. patch, three custom Sean Price playing cards and a sticker pack with three Sean Price stickers. In other words, it's pretty awesome.

The Sean Price Silverback Gorilla Box Set is a welcome commemoration of Price, whose fearsome multi-syllabic rhymes were filled to the brim with the sort of wit and insight that won't soon be replaced in the hip-hop underground. The Silverback Gorilla Box Sets will go on sale on Nov. 25, and if you're a fan of Sean Price, it's definitely worth a buy. As it stands, only 500 Gorilla Box sets have been created.

You can peep what Peter Rosenberg and Dallas Penn have to say about the item in their hilarious advertisement up top, and check out the box set on Duck Down's web shop.
