In 2010, Lil B teased a mixtape called Black Ken with an instantly classic cover. It was done by Benjamin Marra, the graphic artist who would go on to create Lil B's amazing 6 Kiss cover as well, but despite the latter project coming out in '09, Black Ken never saw the light of day. Six years later, it looks like it's finally coming out.

On Thanksgiving day (Nov. 24), the Bay Area rapper tweeted, "lil b fina change the world wow I been crying listening to new songs from Lil B unreleased extremely rare art black Ken mixtape." Then on Saturday, he tweeted, "Make sure u show haters Lil B extremely rare art black Ken mixtape produced and composed by 'The BasedGod' the world changes." Even Martin Shkreli seems excited, and Lil B even confirmed to Lord Jamar that Black Ken was "coming soon."

In addition, Lil B said he "has words for Kanye West" and called the upcoming Black Ken mixtape "a tribute" to 'Ye.

It's some of the first word we've heard about the mixtape's release since he dropped a preview of the tape on DatPiff back in 2010. Lil B has said he doesn't want to sell his music, but this is a monumental release for him, so hopefully he puts it on iTunes like he did for 6 Kiss and I'm Thraxx.

Based God has yet to drop a project in 2016 after releasing the huge Thugged Out, Pissed Off mixtape in Dec. 2015. Check out the 63-song tape here if you missed it.
