Update (Nov. 7, 2:59 p.m.):

Chance The Rapper has had to move his free event in Chicago tonight to a new location. Peep where it's now happening below.

Original Story:

Chance The Rapper will host a free event to encourage young adults to vote in Nov. 8th's presidential election. Chano's non-profit organization SocialWorks is teaming up with Virgin Hotels Chicago to host an outdoor concert on Nov. 7.

The show is slated to happen outside, directly in front of the hotel on 203 N. Wabash Avenue, Chicago from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Central time. Twin Peaks, Malcolm London, Taylor Bennett, Eryn Allen Kane, oddCouple, Stefan Ponce and more are expected to perform. In a press release, Chance says, “This election is very important, a chance for new leaders and new opportunities to emerge. SocialWorks and I are proud to partner with Virgin Hotels Chicago, Boost Your Voice and The TurboVote Challenge to give everyone a voice in the democratic process and encourage people to vote, both locally and nationally.”

In other election-related news, Hillary Clinton brought out Pharrell at a rally in Raleigh, N.C. yesterday (Nov. 3). According to USA Today, Pharrell said, “It makes me angry when people say she can’t lead our country because she’s a woman. How dare anyone question a woman’s ability? Every person on this planet was brought into this world by a woman. Women carry so much every day, including us for nine months. Don’t we call the planet Mother Earth?”

In case you missed it, THE HOOD INTERNET recently released a glorious mash-up of Chance The Rapper‘s "No Problem" and the Cubs theme song, "Go, Cubs, Go." The mash-up is the perfect victory song for a franchise that’s waited 108 years for a World Series championship. If you’re from the Windy City, you know what it is. You can listen to the 93-second song above via SoundCloud.

The Cubbies beat the Indians 8-7 on Wednesday night (Nov. 2) in arguably the most epic World Series game ever. Cleveland clawed its way back two separate times before the Cubs took an 8-6 advantage in the 10th inning on RBIs by Ben Zobrist and Miguel Montero. The Indians made it close for a third time, scoring one run in the bottom of the 10th courtesy of an RBI single from Rajai Davis. But Chicago wasn’t going to let Cleveland steal its shine, and the Joe Maddon-led Cubs snagged their long-awaited ‘chip.
