Young Thug and TM88 are cooking up something in the studio these days. And if one of the ATL's hottest acts and the 808 Mafia member are working together, how could it not be hot?

L.A.-based photographer Walter Brady was in the lab with TM88 Sunday night (Oct. 16) when he posted a pic of the producer with the caption, "Posted, about to shoot TM & thugs EP cover. 3 in the morning type shit. Slight work." This led fans to believe Thugger and Trackman are working on an entirely new project together. Brady later posted that Juicy J hopped out of bed at 2 a.m. to shoot with them as well.

Of course, TM and Thug are no strangers in the studio. In fact, the duo has come up with some fire collabs over the years. TM88 produced 'Wyclef Jean," "Guwop" "Future Swag" and more off Thug's latest project Jeffery. And 88's beats have been showing up everywhere lately. The Atlanta beat smith worked in conjunction with Zaytoven on Gucci Mane's latest album Woptober.

Thug recently shared the cover of XXL's Fall 2016 issue along with Gucci Mane, and talked about his crossover appeal as an artist and the new directions he plans to go in with his music.

"I’m big on speaking shit into existence," explained young Jeffery. "I had to learn not to say stuff like, ‘If I go to prison, I’ma still be…’ Know what I’m saying? I had to learn to back away from that type of stuff and gang bangin’ because I feel like I really speak so much stuff into existence. And sometimes I forget. Sometimes it be in my old music. I be like, What the fuck? I really was like, ‘Next year I’m going to have rings on every finger’ and the next year, I really got rings on every finger. But yeah, I’m big on it. It affects my life so, so much.”

What can we expect on a Thug/TM88 project? Only time will tell.
