Congrats are in order for Lil Uzi Vert. The 2016 XXL Freshman's smash hit "Money Longer" has officially gone Gold, according to the RIAA.

The 22-year-old Philadelphia artist is on fire in 2016. His latest mixtape The Perfect Luv is chock-full of bangers. It's nearly impossible to stay still while listening to songs like "Do What I Want," "SideLine Watching" or "Seven Million" featuring Future. Some older heads have hated on Uzi Vert by calling his style "mumble rap," but one can't deny the success of his last couple bodies of work. Lil Uzi Vert's fans are some of the craziest in the game.

Additionally, Uzi just hopped on the "New Level" (Remix) alongside A$AP Ferg, Future and A$AP Rocky. The young musician also recently dropped his video for "You Was Right" with Metro Boomin. “You Was Right” was produced by Metro for Uzi’s Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World tape earlier this year. The nine-track project also includes “Hi Roller” and "Money Longer."

Uzi gave an insightful interview for 2016 XXL Freshman. At the time, he said, “One thing I could tell you is that I’m all over the place. I know about everything, like one of those guys. When you get to that point it’s kinda hard to say who you influenced by because it’s so many people and then you embody it, not embrace it, embody it until something that you turn into your own. And then it’s like I just created this. You can’t say I look like this person or sound like this person exactly because I made it my own. I’m pretty, pretty influenced by myself right now.”
