Kanye West's Meadows Festival performance came to an abrupt end Sunday night (Oct. 2) after the rapper learned of an incident in which his wife Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint inside a Paris hotel room. Reports say that while Kim was not physically harmed, she was very badly shaken from the ordeal and so it comes as no surprise that Kanye has now decided to reschedule some of his upcoming Saint Pablo tour dates, citing "family concerns."

Shows scheduled for this week in Philadelphia (Oct. 4) and Detroit (Oct 6) have been moved to Dec. 13 and Dec. 22, respectively. The tour will resume as planned starting this Friday (Oct. 7) when Kanye makes his way to his hometown of Chicago.

The thieves, who were said to be posing as police officers, reportedly stole roughly $9 million in jewelry, as well as two cell phones and a wallet with credit cards. In light of the incident, TMZ is reporting that the famous couple has increased security upon returning to New York City. That scene was described as including roughly 10 vehicles with 15-20 bodyguards in tow.

Kanye had exited his Meadows performance suddenly, telling the crowd, "I'm sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show." Considering Kim's fragile state, reports saying she was tied up and feared for her life, Kanye is doing what is necessary to be there for his family. Kim and Kanye’s 3-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old son Saint were not believed to be with Kim at the time.

Concertgoers planning to attend the Philly or Detroit shows can present their original tickets for the rescheduled dates .
