John Legend's new album Darkness and Light, his first project in three years, is set to drop soon. The Grammy-winning singer recently took to his Facebook page to reveal details on the project, including guest appearances, which will include, Chance the Rapper, Miguel, Blake Mills and Brittany Howard of the Alabama Shakes, among others.

In the FB video, Legend also unveiled the project's first single "Love Me Now."

Legend was recently a part of Chano's huge Magnificent Coloring Day Music Festival in Chicago, which brought together artists like Lil Wayne, Tyler, The Creator, Alicia Keys, Skrillex and Lil Uzi Vert. Kanye West even made a surprise appearance at the show, whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

In a recent interview with Showbiz Shelly, Legend talked about his admiration for Chance as an artist. "I'm a big fan of Chance," he said. "I think as a really young artist already he's done some exciting things for the art. You can just see his creativity and his exuberance for music and art come through in everything he does. I love that he is ambitious. He didn't say as a new artists that he couldn't sell out Cellular Field. He went out there and did it and brought some of his favorite artists together."

Legend's last album, Love in the Future, dropped in September 2013 and was spearheaded by the singles "Who Do We Think We Are" and "All of Me." Darkness and Light is set to drop later this year.
