Tyler, The Creator has been highlighting his friendship with A$AP Rocky with videos of the two causing havoc in a Target or street racing against Frank Ocean, but at this past weekend's One Love Music Festival in Calgary, the Odd Future architect got back to relationships of old, bringing out Earl Sweatshirt as a special guest. The duo, otherwise known as EarlWolf, performed "Orange Juice," their remix of Gucci Mane's "Lemonade" off the 2010 Odd Future mixtape Radical.

The reunion isn't entirely out of left field, as the two rappers were spotted together at last month's Afropunk festival. In a 2014 interview, Tyler said that he and Earl were growing apart, stating, “That’s my nigga, [w]e just aren’t as close as we were. It’s kind of weird, but I’m aware and smart enough to know, okay, shit changes.”

Absence, they say, makes the heart grow fonder and so if the two cycled through a period of distance, this may symbolize a return to personal and professional proximity. Tyler recently scored his own show on Viceland, and both he and Earl had guested on Action Bronson's latest, Traveling the Stars, in recent weeks. With Camp Flog Gnaw, Tyler's own yearly festival, scheduled to take place in November, the mini Odd Future reunion may be a sign of things to come, with Rocky, Bronson, Domo Genesis, Leftbrain, The Internet and more all listed on the bill.
