Ty Dolla Sign Falls for a Cyborg in “Zaddy” Video

Ty Dolla $ign builds anticipation for his new project Campaign by dropping the music video for "Zaddy" today (Sept. 1). The slow-paced visual follows a female robot as she puts on her human face for the day, wanders around the city and eventually finds Ty Dolla in her hotel room at the end of the night. Ty seems to be hypnotized by not only her beauty, but also by whatever piece of futuristic technology they cyborg is using on him.

Dolla has a track record of hitting his musical stride in the fall months. The Taylor Gang/Atlantic Records singer released the tracklist for Campaign earlier this week. This newest mixtape, a follow-up to last November's Free TC album, boasts Future as the singular featured artist on the tape. The Cali crooner had previously teased a Beach House 3 mixtape earlier this summer, but seems to have shelved that idea in favor of Campaign.

Ty Dolla is also using his new batch of music as a chance to get political. Given the fact that this is an election year, Ty announced that he's holding his first inaugural Ty Dolla Day on Sept. 25 in conjunction with the release of Campaign. The concert will take place at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, Calif. and feature performances from Ty and "friends."
