G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Winter album is due out in February according to its executive producer Travis Scott. The rapper revealed his plan to drop the highly anticipated compilation in early 2017 during an appearance on Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning.

"I'm executive producing the album. It's coming very soon. I wanna say like the top of the next year," Scott said. "I'm putting the press on everybody. I'm saying February."

Travis Scott was asked about how much of the album had been completed. The "Pick Up the Phone" artist stated that a lot of songs have been recorded but only a few of them will make the cut.

"I would say we have a lot of songs done. How many songs I'll pick? I'll only say like a handful," he explained. "We have a lot of songs done, but we just gotta sit down and lock in all the way."

The Houston native confirmed that every member of the G.O.O.D. Music roster would be contributing to Cruel Winter. He also claimed the project would be very "youthful."

"Every G.O.O.D. Music artist is involved. It's amazing. And we got our illest friends," he said. "It's gonna be one of the illest projects. One thing I can say about this project is it'll be very youthful. Straight to the point. It's just the best album."

Ebro Darden honed in on this statement to ask Travis Scott what youthful meant. Scott went on to provide an explanation for the Hot 97 host.

"It means the kids that are not on the radio all the time who really have the clubs going ridiculous," the rapper said. "It really has that feel. That's who this album is for."
