The Game Recalls Phone Call Where Meek Mill and Sean Kingston Yelled at Each Other

The Game sat down with SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation recently to shed a little insight into the origins of his beef with Meek Mill, saying that a friendly gesture was misconstrued into something else entirely.

The way he tells it in the audio below, he sent Meek a bottle of Rose during his first time back in Los Angeles after completing his house arrest. Following through on the act, Game then visited Meek's table advising him to leave the club a little earlier than usual that night as some robberies had been taking place around the city. Though Meek's table was next to Sean Kingston's, Game neglected to share the information evenly, and when Kingston got robbed later that night, he accused Game of setting him up, due in large part to the fact that Meek told the singer what Game had told him earlier.

From there, Game says he set up a phone conversation for the three to sort it out but things got out of hand. “He’s going off on Sean Kingston. ‘I ain’t tell you nothing.’ Sean Kingston saying, ‘Yes, you did.’ He’s saying, ‘Motherfucker, you bitch-ass nigga…’ So, I just hung up the phone,” Game says.

Detectives then paid Game a visit at his home and though he thought it was a wild development, he still kept the story and his feelings to himself, that is, until a liquor-fueled night in Miami.  "I got drunk in Miami one night…and you know, you tell the truth. It comes out. So, I grab the mic and out of nowhere, I’m like, ‘Fuck Meek Mill.’…From then, I had to ride it out. That’s what we’re doing.”

Game then says that things escalated once Meek brought Beanie Sigel into the fray.  “He did the ultimate fuckery,” said Game. “He went and got Beans to help. I got love for Beans so when he did that, I was genuinely hurt.” Game as well says that Meek jumping on his favorite current beat Young M.A's "OOOUUU" inspired him to record a diss record, driving from North Carolina to New York overnight so he could immediately record. "While I was doing it, I felt bad the whole time,” he added. “I was like, ‘I don’t want to do this to Beanie Sigel, but I’m about to smash this nigga.'”
