N.O.R.E. Says Drake and Rick Ross Met to Try and Squash Beef

We've come a long way from "Stay Schemin," the Rick Ross record best remembered for Drake's Common-dissing verse, as Ross said just last month that he's prepared to go at Drake if the circumstance requires it. As a guest on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s “Drink Champs” podcast, Ross said of Drake's beef with Meek Mill, “Just on some G shit, my nigga ain’t lose to nobody. Y’all better study the game and how the game goes...If it’s gotta go there, Renzel gonna jump off the porch on your ass."

Meek Mill is one of Ross's closest MMG family members, and so his loyalty comes as no surprise, but N.O.R.E. now has new information on the possible rift between Drake and Ross, relaying a scoop he heard about a potential meet-up.

"By the way, I heard Drake and Ross met in Prime 112 to squash the beef between Meek Mill and Drake," N.O.R.E. says in the above clip. "Listen, if that rumor is correct, that’s what we need to happen. Meek Mill, Drake, Ross, fuck beef. I’m just saying, I got the word, I don’t even think I’m supposed to blow it up. Let’s leave that shit the fuck alone, I love both of y’all, both of y’all my people’s, y'all both got my phone number, Ross got my phone number. But let’s leave that beef in the past. Lil Wayne, Birdman, let’s make sure Wayne is happy."

Drizzy's Summer Sixteen tour was just in Miami last week, so dinner at the South Beach steak house is certainly feasible. With Meek Mill set to drop his Dreamchasers 4 sometime this month however, it remains to be seen if the disses will continue to fly, and the beef then revitalized.
