Minnesota native Mod Sun delivers a new record called "Gucci Nail." The track is slated to land on his upcoming album, due out this fall.

The Honorable C Note-produced track is all about Mod Sun's nail polish, which resembles the red, white and green Gucci logo. He spits, "Looking down at my hand that shit looks beautiful/I got red and green all over both my cuticles/Got a handful of that good shit, that's the usual/And I swear it looks like Christmas everywhere I go."

The 29-year-old rapper explains the inspiration for the song to XXL. "I got my Gucci nails done for a photo shoot," he says. "After the shoot I would be on Snapchat and Instagram and everybody was hitting me up about it. Eventually that turned into kids sending me photos of them getting Gucci nails. It kinda became a wave by itself and I decided to immortalize it in a song."

Mod Sun says he plans to reach out to Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj for the official remix. "I'm ready to get on a roller coaster with this album. It's gonna change up my entire career. Bigger shows, songs on the radio, more people aware of what I'm doing ... all that, I'm ready!"

In case you missed it, be sure to check out Mod Sun's video for "Shoot 'Em Down" alongside Machine Gun Kelly and Blackbear and the Dej Loaf-assisted "We Do This Shit." If you're not aware, Mod Sun is an acronym for “Movement On Dreams Stand Under None.”
