Jay IDK recruits Michael Christmas, Saba and Jimi Tents for "My Wallet," a playful examination of the way people perceive wealth. Ab-Soul makes an appearance on the outro. It's pretty sick, but you can form your own opinion about the song after giving it a listen yourself up top.

First out of the gate is Jay IDK, who's gearing up to drop The Empty Bank on Sept. 9. With his animated flow, Jay IDK describes a tale as old as time: a girl leaves him when she realizes he's broke.

Jay IDK recently discussed "My Wallet" with the folks at Noisey, and everything he said pretty much lines up with his verse on the song. "'My Wallet' is about me realizing how people start to look at me when they notice I have an expensive wallet," he explained.

He continued, "Women go crazy, because they think I have money. Friends and family become lazy and rely on me for the same reasons, and at the end of the day, it seems to make more sense to just have a black wallet without a logo."

Saba and Jimi Tents have entertaining verses, but we were most impressed with Christmas, who is set to drop Lady Parts with producer Prefuse 73 on Sept. 9. You can listen to their first single "These Saturdays" right here.
