When Beyoncé dropped Lemonade, the Beyhive came for Rachel Roy on social media, chastising her for (allegedly) sleeping with Jay Z. In a new interview with Grazia Magazine, Dame Dash calls Bey and Hov "cowards" for not protecting Roy on the Internet.

In case you forgot, Dame and Roy used to be married, and they have children together. In the interview, Dash says, “They are cowards. They should have stepped up and said something. Adults can go and harass a kid on behalf of an R&B singer? The trolls should’ve been put in jail for that, it was crazy. I was disappointed Beyonce and Jay didn’t say anything.”

It's pretty corny that a bunch of kids would stick up for Beyoncé on the Internet (especially because Jay Z probably helped her write the storyline), but Dame comes off sounding extremely dumb. Throwing trolls in jail for tweeting? C'mon, bruh.

The 43-year-old Roc-a-Fella Records founder continues, “I don’t care what Rachel did — I don’t agree with a lot things she does. I have kids by that woman, so if I ever disrespect their mom it will hurt my kids. I cannot air it out the way I would like to. I love my children, but there are definitely things that are being done which I would not expect of a regular human. But I am a gentleman, so I will not be hard on her.”

In case you missed it, check out Jay Z pushing a Beyoncé fan out of the way a few weeks ago. Seems like Hov is his wife's best bodyguard. Musically, Jay has been more active this summer than in years past. He received five BET Hip-Hop Awards nominations for his work with DJ Khaled and Future on “I Got the Keys” as well as for his own solo release “Spiritual.”
