Chris Brown and 50 Cent get along well on wax and off, so much so that 50 had promised the singer a role on his Starz show Power, which is currently in the midst of its third season. That promise didn't go over well with network executives however, with Page Six reporting that Brown's anger issues may keep him off the show altogether,

A source close to CB told the publication, “50 promised Chris a big role on ‘Power,’ playing a drug dealer. But 50 didn’t consult the network first, and execs were not happy when they found out about it... The network insisted that Chris’ casting was not going to happen, because of fears about his anger issues. There was a big blowup, and they had to tell Chris he was not going to get the role. The news was delivered to him early Monday. He was livid.”

This week has been a turbulent one for Breezy, who was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after Baylee Curran, an aspiring actress and model, accused the singer of pointing a gun at her when she went to examine a piece of jewelry. Brown was released on $250,000 bail and upon searching his home LAPD officers found neither the piece of jewelry in question nor any firearms.

Through it all, 50 has voiced his support for Brownm with whom he has a number of collaborations including his current single "No Romeo No Juliet." 50 told Page Six that despite the reports Breezy will be on the show.  “Tune into ‘Power’ next season, because you will see Chris Brown,” he said.
