Congratulations are in order for A$AP Rocky. Today (Sept. 30), MTV Labs names the 27-year-old artist its creative director.

To celebrate the partnership with MTV Labs and Viacom Velocity, the company's in-house creative agency, Rocky will be performing never-before-heard tracks from A$AP Mob's upcoming Cozy Tapes Vol. 1. The exclusive show will take place today (Sept. 30) at MTV's Times Square studio. You can watch the performance of the lead single, "Crazy Brazy" featuring Key!, on MTV at 6:25 p.m. EST on Friday.

The "Pesos" rapper is thrilled about his new deal with MTV. In a press release, Rocky says, "MTV is a name we grew up with - everyone knows them as innovators and champions of building artist's careers. I'm honored to have this opportunity and can't wait to show people what we have been working on."

Niels Schuurmans, EVP and Chief Creative Officer at Viacom Velocity, says, "A$AP Rocky is a unique Milliennial artist whose influence as an innovator and disruptor spans music, film, art, and fashion. What was so compelling to us is his authentic love for fans and the MTV brand, along with his desire to collaborate with us and our marketing partners to develop ideas that drive real cultural impact."

In other Rocky-related news, the "LSD" artist recently hopped on Mura Masa's song "Love$ick" and spit two quality verses. Over an addictive, steel-drum instrumental, Rocky spits about drinking promethazine, dealing with annoying paparazzi and taking trips to Italy with a special somebody.
