Troy Ave is getting back to the music. One month after being released from jail on $500,000 bond, the Brooklyn rapper releases a new album titled Roland Collins. The LP is a 11-track effort which features no guest appearances.

Production on Roland Collins is handled by Chase N. Cashe, Rubi Rosa, Robbie Nova, Yankee, Trilogy, John Scino and Cito on the Beat. The album is being offered up as a free download, but can also be purchased on iTunes if you want to support the MC.

While Troy Ave might be out of jail, he has not gained his freedom yet. The rapper is required to wear an ankle bracelet, cannot leave New York City and has a 11 p.m. curfew. He’s also not allowed anywhere near concerts, bars, arenas and other music venues.

Troy Ave's looming case will be tough since he was caught firing a gun on camera. One of Troy's lawyers, John Stella, is arguing in court that his client took the gun away from the man who killed Troy's friend Ronald "Banga" McPhatter and shot back in self-defense.

The BSB rapper has plenty of court dates looming including some in his own lawsuit against Irving Plaza and Live Nation. But for now, Troy Ave can focus on music. Check out tracklist and stream for Roland Collins below. You can also download the entire LP via this link.
