In November of 2015, Rich Homie Quan's former label, Think It’s A Game Entertainment, sued the rapper for breach of contract, after he filed a lawsuit against them for unpaid royalties. The label had asked for an injunction against Quan prohibiting him from releasing any new music or signing any new deals, but now a settlement has been reached between the two parties, as announced in a press release today.

“I feel like LeBron James, I’m ready and looking forward to ending 2016 with a bang, my fans will not be disappointed,” Quan said in a statement. “It will be cinematic. Just like a movie.” That's good news for Quan fans and the fate of his debut album Rich As In Spirit, which has continued to stay on the back-burner despite the success of numerous Quan singles.

Quan's manager and father echoed the rapper's sentiments, saying in a statement, “I feel relieved and I am glad that it came to an end. I never worried about us settling, because I knew my faith and trust in God would see us through.” The label's CEO meanwhile expressed his support, writing, “We are family! We started together and we are going to finish together. It’s been a long ride, but get ready for Greatness.”

The good news comes just a few weeks after Quan announced that he is expecting another child and is an opportunity for him to put the VH1 Hip Hop Honors debacle behind him with new music.
