Lil Uzi Vert's fans at the Hard Summer Festival got a little too close for comfort. The Philadelphia rapper went out into the crowd where he was mobbed by adoring fans. One woman began screaming how much she loved Uzi as fans circled around him. It appeared that the young artist was bothered by the situation as he took off running. With dozens of fans chasing after him, Uzi made his escape by jumping a fence.

These diehard fans might have been a little disappointed that Lil Uzi Vert ran away from them, but they will probably find solace in his latest mixtape. Just a few days ago, Uzi released his new project titled The Perfect Luv. The 10-track tape features guest appearances by Future, Playboi Carti and Offset. Uzi also enlisted an all-star lineup of producers including Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, DP Beatz and Slade Da Monsta.

It has been a big year for Lil Uzi Vert as he was named to 2016 XXL Freshman class. During his sit-down interview at the cover shoot, Uzi spoke about being unable to narrow down his influences.

"One thing I could tell you is that I’m all over the place," Uzi said. "I know about everything, like one of those guys. When you get to that point it’s kinda hard to say who you influenced by because it’s so many people and then you embody it, not embrace it, embody it until something that you turn into your own. And then it’s like I just created this. You can’t say I look like this person or sound like this person exactly because I made it my own. I’m pretty, pretty influenced by myself right now."

In addition to the Freshman honors, Lil Uzi Vert's also been making some noise on the Billboard charts. The Don Cannon protégé recently saw two of his songs charts on the Hot 100.
