Chinx is releasing a posthumous album called Legends Never Die on Sept. 16. Yesterday (Aug. 15), his team unleashed a new single titled "Match That."

The New York MC flows for three-and-a-half minutes over an Austin Powers and Smash David-produced instrumental. The Coke Boys rapper was tragically shot and killed on May 17, 2015. Chinx's camp tells XXL, "As the hip hop community continues to mourn Chinx, his team continues to keep his legacy strong."

It truly sucks that Chinx isn't around to become the superstar he was on the path to becoming. Though he was a bit overshadowed by fellow Coke Boys members French Montana and Lil Durk, Chinx was definitely on the rise, and his time was coming. On verse one, Chinx spits, "Balenciaga match the coat, I had to match that / Pull up with my homie to the venue in a double matte max / Back it up, I told that bitch to come and back it up / Then she came in with her twin, tried to back me down."

Legends Never Die will be Chinx's second posthumous project. His debut album Welcome to JFK was released shortly after his untimely death a little over a year ago. In his JFK review, XXL's Emmanuel C.M. writes, "The 12-song album is impressive, boasting a litany of melodic street anthems and how-to pointers for the underdogs of the world."

You can pre-order Legends Never Die via iTunes now. The 14-track body of work will contain features from artists including Movado, Meet Sims and Chrisette Michel. Keep it locked to XXL for more Chinx news, and check back to the site when Legends Never Die officially drops on Sept. 16.
