Cam'ron and Juelz Santana made a surprise appearance at Drake's Madison Square Garden shows, but one Dipset member was noticeable missing. Jim Jones' absence led to speculation that he was not allowed on-stage due to his beef with Cam'ron. Killa Cam decided to clear the air on this matter.

"Juelz called me and told me that Drake called him and wanted us to come out," Cam said of how it came together. "I seen that on the Gram too. People going, 'Why y'all ain't bring Jim up?' It's not my show. I don't conduct the show. It's not Cam presents Drake. Juelz called me and he said, 'Drake wants you to come out to the show tonight.' And it was that simple."

Cam'ron explained that he had nothing to do with Jim Jones being left out. In fact, he only spoke to Drake during the actual performance.

"Everybody wants a long drawn out story like yo, this happened, this happened," Cam said. "I didn't even speak to Drake but on the stage. That's the only time we spoke. Juelz the one who called me up and was like, 'He wants us to come do 'Oh Boy,' 'Hey Ma' and 'Gangsta Music.' That was that. I didn't even know Jim was there till later today till I seen a lot of people in the comments."

Cam'ron also clarified how he thinks his issues with Jim Jones have been blown out of proportion. The rapper still considers Jones to be family.

"Jim's issues with me or whatever... I know Jim's moms and kids, his son rather, and his sisters," Cam said. "As hard as I would go against somebody else, I wouldn't go hard on Jim like that. That's still my man regardless of what people see in the public or media or whatever."

Cam'ron is set to release his new album Killa Season 2 in the fall, but he says not to expect a project from the Diplomats any time soon. The Dipset member will also put out a sneaker with Reebok around the same time.
