Thanks to the success of Power, Starz has green-lit another TV show from 50 Cent. The show is called Tomorrow, Today, and Fif' wants either Yasiin Bey or Wood Harris for the lead role, according to TV Guide.

Yasiin is still being detained in South Africa for legal troubles that occurred in early 2016. But 50 is unconcerned about the situation; in fact, he's determined to get the Brooklyn MC home so he can get to work on the new Starz show. 50 tells TV Guide, "We gonna get him out of South Africa."

As aforementioned, 50 also likes Harris for the leading man. Harris is perhaps best known for his role as Avon Barksdale in The Wire, but he's been in a plethora of major movies including Above the Rim, Paid in FullCreed and Remember the Titans.

Tomorrow, Today is about a superhero from the South Side of Chicago who gets falsely imprisoned and then gains superpowers thanks to a doctor's strange experiments. Wood Harris happens to be from Chicago, which is part of the reason 50 likes him for the role.

50 tells TV Guide, "I like Wood Harris. I want to work with Wood. They haven't shown Chicago as it is. Wood is from Chicago. He's at home with it, he's going to be bringing people he can draw from ... the culture there is a very special culture. It's not Los Angeles or New York City."

In other Yasiin Bey-related news, the 42-year-old rap vet recently dropped a new track called "HYMN" featuring Ferrari Sheppard. In case you forgot, the artist formerly known as Mos Def is releasing one final album before calling it quits from hip-hop for good.
