Wiz Khalifa has already dropped two projects in 2016 and it looks like the third is coming this week.

Yesterday (July 3), the Pittsburgh rapper took to Twitter to make a brief announcement, letting fans know to expect new material. "Happy Sunday. Getting new music mixed and artwork done to drop this week," he posted.

Wizzle just dropped new music last month with the release of group TGOD Mafia album Rude Awakening, along with Juicy J and TM88, so this comes as a surprise.

The next project that was expected from Wiz is Rolling Papers 2 which is slated to drop this year. However, that project could be tied up in red tape as Wiz and his label Rostrum Records battle it out in court.

Last month, Wiz sued the label and accused them of basically tricking him into signing a 360 deal and duping him out of a large amount of scratch. “An artist’s most trusted advisor is his or her personal manager," Alex Weingarten, Khalifa’s attorney at Venable LLP, said about the situation. "Generally, nothing good comes out when the manager decides to go into business against his artist. Unfortunately, that is the case here.”

Rostrum has since counter-sued Wiz. They are claiming to be owed a 15% cut of the rapper's touring and music royalties from a deal that was signed back in 2005. The company argues that it’s also owed 20% of Wiz’s merchandise sales. They are seeking a settlement of $2 million.
