Snoop Dogg has been riding for Los Angeles for as long as he's been recording music, documenting the drama in the LBC and putting on for the west coast. He as well is a huge sports fan, and recently gifted Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant with a one of a kind retirement gift that they each shared online.

"Unbelievable retirement gift from my man Snoop today," Bryant wrote on Twitter Wednesday (July 6). He and Snoop were standing in front of a purple and gold custom convertible that, as the above Instagram photo shows, features all-time Lakers greats Wilt Chamberlin, Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Michael Cooper, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and of course Kobe Bean Bryant himself on the hood. "The gift that keeps on giving. Enjoy it mamba," Snoop wrote.

Bryant's historic 20 year career came to end in April after he dropped 60 points on the Utah Jazz. Kanye West, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar and more were in attendance, with Hov reportedly getting to keep the game ball from Bryant's swan song performance. Bryant is no doubt immortalized in basketball through his five NBA championships and ruthless instincts, but rap has solidified his place in time as well, using him as one of the premiere analogs for balling out. G Herbo recently titled a mixtape Ballin' Like I'm Kobe, while Chief Keef's "Kobe" takes a streamlined approach to evoking No. 24.
